Rebecca Zizek

Rebecca’s passion for the art of dance began 20 years ago and she began teaching and choreographing at the age of 16. She trained extensively in all dance styles as a competitive dancer, with some of the industry’s top teachers and choreographers. Throughout her dance career, she was the recipient of many awards and scholarships throughout Canada and the US. 

Rebecca is a member and certified teacher with Dance Masters of America and is also a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. Rebecca has performed and choreographed for professional shows including Raise the Rhythm, Fever After Dark, Toronto Raptors Junior Dance Pak, Block Party featuring Calvin Harris, Monsterball London, Women in Dance, Ray-

Dance Gala, the Canadian National Exhibition and was a company member in POV Dance Project’s “Wireless Connection”.

Rebecca’s contemporary work was one of the selected pieces 

to be showcased at the prestigious Young Choreographers Festival in New York City in 2015.

 Rebecca was also honoured to be the recipient of the George Lon Choreography Award at the DMA Nationals 2015 in Boston, where her students were named the Grand National Champions. While obtaining her degree in Health Sciences at Western University, Rebecca was both an executive and head choreographer of HEAT Dance Team. Her innovative choreography was awarded at varsity competitions and her leadership and artistic vision were 

cornerstones in bringing the team to being recognized as one of the top varsity dance teams in Ontario.

Rebecca currently teaches and choreographs at several studios across Ontario. Her work with competitive students has won countless overalls, dance-off championships and highest score titles, while her artistic vision has received much acclaim and many choreography awards. Her extensive training and experience have allowed her to continue to grow as a professional and versatile dancer, teacher, choreographer and adjudicator. She believes in always remaining a student to your craft, and in constantly exploring new ways of movement and expression. Rebecca’s enthusiasm and passion as an artist is undeniable and it is her honor to be able to share this with the dance community.

Vanessa Zullo

The former artistic director of  Vanessa Zullo’s School of Dance Inc., operating successfully in Bolton for 13 years, Vanessa is an accomplished dancer, teacher, and choreographer with over 20 years of training in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern, hip hop, acrobatics, and ballroom styles.  Over the course of her 20-year teaching career, Vanessa and her students have won numerous awards and scholarships at both the regional and national levels. Several students have won major titles including DMA Junior Miss Dance and CanDance Junior Miss Dance, just to name a few.  Past students have also danced with the Toronto Raptors Junior Dance Pak, Toronto Blue Jays Dancers, and have been featured in several commercials, movies, and TV shows, including SYTYCD. Vanessa also has students who were privileged enough to be accepted to the Quinte and National Ballet Schools. Vanessa is tremendously proud that several of her former students are presently embarking on successful teaching careers themselves.

 

Vanessa believes strongly in continuous learning and makes attending teachers’ workshops and classes a priority to keep up with the latest teaching techniques and choreographic styles. Miss Zullos’ goal is to provide her students with a solid foundation in dance in a safe and caring learning environment. Both her recreational and competitive classes are fun and challenging for students of any age. She teachers all of her classes with boundless energy, enthusiasm, mixed with a wacky sense of humor.

 

Currently Miss Zullo feels privileged to be inspiring and sharing her love and knowledge of dance to children at several schools in the GTA while completing her Bachelor of Education at York University. She is a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance.

Madisen Young

Madisen Young is an established dancer and instructor in the GTA with over 20 years experience in the dance industry. She has trained in many different genres of dance and continues to share her knowledge and passion for the art with her students. Madisen graduated from Ryerson University, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance, and is a proud member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance. Madisen has trained with many prestigious choreographers including Heidi Strauss, James Kudelka, Justin De Bernardi and has danced for artists Kardinal Official and Brett Kissel. She has performed in over 30 works that have taken her around the world to places like South Carolina, Poland, Alberta, Greece and across Ontario. Madisen is currently a dancer for MLSE’s Toronto Argonauts and loves to practice, teach and study the art of yoga. She continues to share her passion for dance through teaching, performing and always staying educated.

Bri Zubick

Bri began her dance training with a small competitive studio in British Columbia. Her love of dance grew from there bringing her to Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, Bri completed a certificate of dance program with the International Academy of Dance Hollywood. Bri trained across all genres and performed in pieces by the esteemed faculty. This training inspired Bri to move to Toronto and continue her professional dance career. While in Toronto she performed in various live events such as Fever After Dark Shows, Choreoball, Let the Elephants Dance, Rotary International Opening Ceremonies, The Big Show Toronto, and more. Some her film work consists of a digital production of Footnotes (Decidedly Jazz), HER/SELF a short film choreographed by Avery Dupuis. Some highlight performances for Bri were The Introduction a full length show with Opus Dance Collective and choreographing and performing at the WISE International Women's Day Event. Bri moved to Calgary to diversify her training with Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. This past year Bri completed the professional training program. While in Calgary Bri filmed her first movie musical with Occasional Notes Productions in Candy Cane Kids. Bri continues to work with various companies throughout Calgary. With all her performance experience Bri has a love for sharing her knowledge with all dancers. She spends her summers travelling across western Canada sharing her passion for dance education with various studios. Bri has won choreography awards for her Acro, Contemporary, and Jazz choreography. Within her choreography Bri loves to find new ways to showcase and highlight the abilities of the dancers. She likes to challenge each dancer in her class to push themselves and find new depths within their movement.  Bri is also a certified Acrobatic Arts Instructor in both Modules 1 and 2. She is also a member of the Professional Adjudicators Alliance.
